Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of Wing Assist, an iOS/iPadOS aviation utility published by GF Productions. By using Wing Assist, you agree to these Terms.

Planning and reference aid only

Wing Assist is designed to assist with aviation calculations, planning, references, aircraft data organization, and related utility functions. It is not certified aircraft data, an electronic flight bag replacement, ATC, an autopilot, a dispatch release, or a substitute for the aircraft POH/AFM, official weather sources, applicable regulations, training, or pilot judgment.

No guarantee of operational suitability

You are responsible for independently verifying all information that could affect flight safety or regulatory compliance. Do not rely on Wing Assist as the sole source for flight planning, weather, aircraft performance, weight and balance, fuel requirements, emergency planning, or regulatory decisions.

User-entered data

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of aircraft data, limits, weights, fuel values, performance values, and other information you enter into the app. Results are only as reliable as the inputs and assumptions used.

Weather and third-party information

Weather or other externally sourced information may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate. Always verify time-sensitive aviation information with an appropriate official source before flight.

Subscriptions

Wing Assist may offer optional auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple’s App Store. Payment, renewal, cancellation, and subscription management are handled by Apple under the terms associated with your Apple ID and the App Store. Subscription features remain subject to the availability of Apple’s services and the applicable product configuration.

Acceptable use

You may use Wing Assist for personal or professional aviation planning and reference purposes in accordance with applicable law. You may not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access to services, or use it in a way that violates applicable law or third-party rights.

Intellectual property

Wing Assist, its branding, interface, software, and original content are owned by GF Productions or used with permission. Third-party trademarks and references remain the property of their respective owners.

Availability and updates

Features may be changed, improved, suspended, or removed in future versions. GF Productions does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the app, external data sources, App Store services, or network-dependent features.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GF Productions is not liable for losses or damages arising from reliance on Wing Assist outputs, unavailable services, incorrect user-entered data, external data errors, or decisions made using the app. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Apple terms

Your use of Wing Assist is also subject to Apple’s applicable App Store terms and, where no custom end-user license agreement applies, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated when Wing Assist changes. The effective date above will be updated when material revisions are published.
