Wing Assist is developed and published by GF Productions. This Privacy Policy explains how Wing Assist handles information when you use the app.

Information stored on your device

Wing Assist may store information you enter into the app, such as aircraft profiles, aircraft data, calculation history, saved planning values, personal minimums or pilot limits, load scenarios, preferences, and other app settings. This information is intended to remain on your device unless a feature explicitly allows you to export or share it.

No user account required

Wing Assist does not require you to create an account or sign in to use the app.

Weather requests

Wing Assist may make network requests to retrieve aviation weather information such as METAR and TAF data. These requests may include an airport or station identifier that you enter or select. Network requests are processed by the weather data provider and your network service provider according to their own policies. Wing Assist does not use weather lookups to build advertising profiles or track you across apps or websites.

Purchases and subscriptions

Wing Assist may offer optional subscriptions through Apple’s App Store using StoreKit. Purchase processing, billing, subscription management, and payment information are handled by Apple. Wing Assist does not receive your full payment card information.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

Wing Assist does not include third-party advertising and is not designed to track users across apps or websites for advertising purposes. If analytics, crash reporting, cloud services, or other third-party services are added in a future version, this policy will be updated to reflect those practices before release.

Sharing and exports

If you choose to export or share a calculation, report, or other content from Wing Assist, the information you select may be passed to the destination you choose through iOS sharing features. You control whether and where that information is shared.

Children

Wing Assist is a professional aviation utility and is not directed specifically to children.

Security

Reasonable efforts are made to keep Wing Assist data within the protections provided by iOS and the device itself. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as Wing Assist changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
